In God's Word, we learn about Him and how to live pleasing to Him. Sometimes we need a little challenge to encourage us to dig deeper in the Word of God, studying for ourselves what God has to say about life topics. So we invite you to join us!
THE CHALLENGE
Pick one specific topic to study in God's Word (ideas below) throughout April.
Ideas for your personal study time: Do a search with a concordance of the subject in the Scriptures. Research the meaning of the word/topic. Study the appearances and contexts, praying, "Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law" (Psalm 119:18).
Daily, write down what you find in your study, questions you have, answers to previous questions, thoughts, or life applications. We encourage you to study God's Word primarily in your studies, although you can refer to commentaries if needed.
STUDY TOPIC IDEAS
- An atribute of God (holiness, love, justice, mercy, omniscience, faithfulness, etc.)
- Ways to praise the Lord
- God's commands to believers
- Christ's redeeming love for His people
- Justification / sanctification / predestination, etc.
- How to Biblically present the Gospel
WHEN
April 1 — April 30, 2015.
WRITE
...a synopsis of what you learned during your study. Your essay can be 500-1500 words, and must tell how the truths you learned have impacted you. Submit this to challenges @ kingsbloomingrose.com by May 15, 2015.

We're looking for candid photos of modestly-dressed young ladies or striking nature scenes.
Whether it be your sister reading to your baby brother, serving a meal, young ladies reading the Word—or a gorgeous autumn sunrise—start snapping! This is your chance to have a picture published and enjoyed by many others throughout the next year!
Images will be judged by interesting content, creative angle, lighting, color agreement, and overall appeal of image as it depicts the purity, femininity, and joy of daughters embracing their calling at home.
Photos must be landscape view (horizontal). Each photographer may submit up to ten images.
