EDITORS' NOTE KBR Magazine will not be published past 2018, as the Lord is bringing this season of publication to a close. When KBR began thirteen years ago, it was with a desire to encourage and challenge one another as young ladies, as we seek the Lord and invest in the relationships He has around us. It has been such a joy over the years to learn together, spur each other in the Lord, and get to know one another...despite the many miles that may lie between us! Although it will be bittersweet to see this season of KBR end, we know that the Lord will continue His work in the lives of young women around the world—and we trust that the heart of KBR will be carried on with even more clarity and strength as the Lord raises up each of you to carry on the torch, encouraging the girls around you in God's Word. KBR has been a place for us to connect each quarter and share the journey of life with one another. As we compile the final two issues of KBR in 2018, we want to invite YOU to be a part in one of these various ways... |
· Share what is on your heart!What has the Lord been teaching you? In hindsight, looking back over the past few years, what would you have done differently? · We would love to meet you...especially if you've never introduced yourself to other readers before. We'll be putting together a subscriber photo/letter page, so let us get to know you! · Made a friend through KBR?We'd love to see a picture of you and your friend together. · Have a heart for mentorship or discipleship?We are looking for testimonies of how God is using the Titus 2 model of older women investing in younger women today. How do you seek the wisdom of older godly women around you? How has this impacted your life? · What has the Lord taught you about Himself? About who you are in Christ?The summer 2018 issue of KBR is going to focus on who we are in Christ - having our identity in Him alone, and finding our worthy/value in Him. The autumn 2018 issue (final issue) will center around the theme of "The Knowledge of God" - who is God and how does our knowledge of Him (based upon His Word) impact our living? We would love to have you share for either of these issues, as the Lord leads. · Know of any other magazines for Christian young women?We would love to know, so feel free to recommend any good resources!
